Access “Bars”

What are Access “Bars”?

“The Bars” are the foundation of Access and were the first tool developed by Gary Douglas almost 20 years ago.

The purpose of Access Bars is to teach people that they can actually receive. The act of receiving is commonly accepted on this planet. Doing, doing, doing, in order to make sure you don’t have to receive, is the accepted mode of behavior on this planet. This has to change. You have to be willing to receive.

There are 32 bars of energy that run through and around your head. They store the electromagnetic component of all the thoughts, ideas, attitudes, decisions and beliefs that you have ever had about anything. There are bars for Healing, Body, Control, Awareness, Creativity, Power, Aging, Sex and Money just to name a few. Each thought, idea, attitude, decision or belief that you have fixed in place solidifies the energy and limits your capacity to have that area of your life show up as great, easy and joyful as it really could be.

Touch one Bar and you begin to clear away the energy locked up in that area or aspect of your life just by touching it. Add in touching another Bar and you not only get the “issues” from the first Bar, you also begin clearing the “issues” stored in that second Bar. As well you clear all the points of view about those two Bars in relation to each other, allowing for exponential change.

Have you ever tried to talk to someone who has their mind made up about something? Is it like trying to get through a brick wall? That’s because it IS a wall; an energetic wall. Every time you take a point of view, you create another wall. For example, if you say, “I’m never doing that again!” That decision stops the energy and limits what you can receive. Does a decision like that create more choice in your life or less? Would it create an impact on your body? Fortunately, this can be changed easily and quickly.

By gently touching these points on the head, the energy and barriers dissipate and the electromagnetic charge is released. Releasing stuck energy is like deleting old files off your computer… five minutes can erase years of stored points of view. You have more space to create something new and wonderful with more up to date tools!

The Invitation of Access

The invitation of Access is to help you acknowledge you as the infinite being you truly are and to step into generating a life beyond the you, you think you are. As an infinite being all things are possible all the time and you have total choice. When we are functioning from finiteness we choose to have little choice and limited possibilities, keeping us in the polarity of functioning from the trauma and drama of this reality. Our addiction to this polarity is one of the strongest addictions there is. Access Consciousness is about unlocking you from the polarity, conditioning and limitation of your thoughts, feelings and emotions.

One of the greatest tools to unlocking us from this addiction is to function from allowance. Allowance is where everything is just an interesting point of view. Allowance lets us become aware of all the areas in our life where we are either aligning and agreeing or resisting and reacting to any points of view, thoughts, feelings, emotions, beliefs, judgments, conclusions or considerations. Access Consciousness begins to set us free by reminding us that everything is just an interesting point of view.

One of the dynamic differences of Access is that it is all about being in the question, never claiming to be the answer or have the answers. What we do have are questions, questions that will challenge your belief systems, points of view and judgments. Questions that will unlock the places of limitation and bring light to where you are choosing not to have choice. Questions that will facilitate the awareness of how you can generate a phenomenal life beyond anything you have ever imagined.

What can I expect from an Access “Bars” session?

An Access “Bars” session is an incredibly transformational process that not only initiates change, but also leaves you deeply relaxed, with a sense of inner peace, ease, as well as a space and feeling there is more possibility available to you.

No two sessions will ever be exactly the same, even if you have the same person run your Bars each time. Every session will access new energies, new areas of your life and body, with the over all affect of facilitating more ease in every aspect of life.

How often should I have my “Bars” run?

There is not right or wrong way for how often, it is totally up to you and the level of stress you currently experience in your life. My recommendation is at least once a week, and not waiting longer than every three weeks. Most people notice that their body feels much better and their life is much smoother if they get there “Bars” run on a weekly basis. Bring a friend or two and become a Bars Practitioner

How does the process work?

Running the “Bars” is a simple, non-invasive, energy process where the facilitator lightly touches each point on the head to release the energy. The recipient is fully clothed.

When run on children before exams, this process has shown a dramatic effect on grades. Pregnant women report that labor is much shorter, and the birthing process is much easier when they have their “bars” run regularly. Many people report that it assists them in sleeping more soundly.
